About Me

Hello and welcome to my site. I am a recent graduate earning a B.S. in Network Engineering and Security from Western Governors University. I am currently an intern in the IT department at a local furniture retailer.I've been learning so much as I assist users in this help desk type role. Some of my responsibilities include the following: Helping troubleshoot hardware and software issues through the ticketing system, onboarding/offboarding users, and provisioning and imaging PCs.I am excited to start a career in IT because it is always changing and there is always something new to learn.

Current Projects

  • OPNsense

Added additional Realtek NIC to Lenovo M900 for OPNsense router/firewall.

  • VMware/Proxmox

Properly Installed VMware vSphere Hypervisor 8 and Proxmix on Lenovo Thinkcentre and created both a Linux and Windows VM in both hypervisors.

Previous Projects

  • Pi-Hole w/ Unbound

Used Pi-Hole as a DNS sink to block ads, tracking and telemetry data while using Unbound to turn the Raspberry Pi into a recursive DNS.
